A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Gargantuan Angling is an arcade style fishing game made in Godot game engine. The game is inspired by Konami's Fisherman's Bait game series (also known as Exciting Bass in Japan and Big Ol' Bass in the US).

Can you catch all the GARGANTUAN! fish?🐟

This is the first public demo release. We are looking for feedback from wider audience on how to improve the game. Many things can be changed or modified based on feedback. Please be kind as we are small team of two brothers and public publishing is new thing for us, so there are things to learn.

There is a little bit of fishing spot level progression and 10 fishes to catch. Some of the fishes are quite challenging, and one of them is even harder to spot👑, and each fish has 6 size categories. You also have 4 types of lures in your disposal.

Game can be played with a controller 🎮 or a keyboard ⌨️. You can download the game on Windows or Linux.

(Please note that I've managed to start the game on Ubuntu and Pop!-OS virtual machines, but I guess 256MB of video memory, that is maximum amount that you can assign on VirtualBox, isn't enough to play the game so your mileage may vary.)

P.S. Saves files from 1.0 and 1.0.2, and later, are not interchangeable.

Cool game. Didn't catch any fish but at least I got my feet wet.

Thank you for your feedback and trying out our game!

I agree that the difficulty is way too hard for new players. Definitely needs more easing before throwing players into the deep end.
